My original post about The story of Tom Brennan by JC Burke has been getting quite a few hits lately. It looks like quite a few students are studying it for school and digging around for information. I don’t want to do your work for you, but here are a couple of links that may come in handy, or may not.Teacher’s guide produced by the publisher, Random House.J.C. Burke’s own siteAn interview with JC Burke, and another over at the wonderful insideadog.com.au.You should also consider visiting the website of your local public library. They will probably have access to a database like EBSCO’s ANZ Reference Centre that contains full text articles from various journals and newspapers. A quick search there found me JC Burke’s acceptance speech at the 2006 CBCA awards and another review of the book from Reading Time magazine.Good luck.
