It is really unbelievable. . . I take my twin boys who are only 7 months old there just because I love it so much.

Mirriam – it’s great to hear from someone who has seen it first hand. I’m sure your enthusiasm will rub of on your boys!

Kudos to the people of Baltimore and the Rosedale Library for creating Storyville. I visited in late Feb ’08 and I was blown away! As a retired childrens museum educator, I was impressed with all the well-planned details, bright colors and reusable hands-on objects accessible and unique to each area. As a book lover, I was thrilled to see that each room has a variety of childrens books related to its theme. Even my infant grandsons were able to combine board books with play in the Baby Garden. As they get older, they’ll make new discoveries in the rest of the spaces. This is not a place where kids get bored! Storyville provides endless opportunities for children to learn through play. Community-supported creativity at its best!

Sounds like it’s been a success. Well done Rosedale.
